Route Visualization

jBEAM enables the postprocessing and cartographic display of a flight by importing and analyzing position data.

  • Route is rendered locally on online map tiles
  • Measured variables are getting visible as a result of colouring the line
  • Analysis of the route data, e.g. statistics
  • Sprite visualizes the measurement object
  • Offline replay

 

If images with GPS coordinates were generated during a test drive, it is possible to display them geographically in jBEAM in addition to the route.

Thus, in addition to the display of the measurement data along a timeline, the images can be assigned to specific times and presented.

The recording of location data is for data loggers prior art. These devices provide the data in a variety of formats that can be imported and analyzed in jBEAM. This allows the postprocessing of a gliding flight and cartographic representation using various card services. Besides the post-evaluation of flight procedures, like holdings or approaches, even height data and other important values can be included into the analysis. Deviations of precision and non-precision approaches are just one example.
