Dental Technology

Forces acting on dental implants can be visualized and analyzed by jBEAM.

Within the framework of dental technology, the AMS cooperates amongst others with the university in Erlangen. JBEAM is used to analyze and present the acting forces on dental implants.
The occured forces are identified by means of force vectors. Therefore the direction and the strenght of the force is illustrated on the respective implant abutment.
Furthermore the movement of the lower jaw in the incisal point can be described by a loop in the red coordinate system. The movement is measured by using a small magnet fixed on the teeth, which generates the signal for the hall sensor. This signal appears together with the force vectors in the representation.
