AMS team at the WRO World Final in Thailand
Last weekend the time had come - this year's WRO (World Robot Olympiad) took place in Chiang Mai in the north of Thailand. The teams sponsored by the AMS were on site to measure their skills in challenging robotic competitions, have fun and make new friends.
This year's WRO theme is FOOD MATTERS, it focuses on the way we grow, share and consume food. It is an important theme, because one in nine people in the world today (795 million people) are undernourished. And with a growing population in the world, more and more food needs to be produced every year. We can use technology to help grow more and better food and reduce food waste.
Our trainee Adib and his team NoNameInternational took 18th place (out of 88 teams). The boys were very happy to have run a run. In the first run with additional task unfortunately an element broke and in the second attempt they had a logic error. Despite grabbing a seat in the front row makes us proud and congratulations for the good performance!
