Data Mining

The final step of the analysis chain for Big Test Data

Data Mining algorithms in jBEAM

As an open framework (ASAM-CEA) jBEAM offers the possibility to develop Data Mining algorithms or add new methods (libraries: Java, Matlab). Data Mining results can be visualized with all graphic objects in jBEAM.

The following approaches and algorithms are already implemented in jBEAM:

  • Pattern: Apriori, FPGrows, ...
  • Clustering: K-Means, Optics, DBScan, ...
  • Prediction: Linear & Periodic Prediction, Support Vector Machine (SVM) ...
  • Transformation: Principal Component Analysis (PCA), ...
Depiction of a raw data set with 3 categories
Use of K-Means Clustering on a data set with several random scatter-plots
